Maniototo Area School is looking for a Caretaker/Groundsperson to join our team.

 

This position will suit someone who is proactive with excellent practical and problem-solving skills. A solid knowledge of maintenance, grounds keeping and Health and Safety will be an advantage. The ideal applicant is self-motivated, prioritises tasks and communicates well.

 

The successful candidate needs to work within a budget, manage our school houses, liaise with contractors and manage staff.

Conditions and remuneration are according to the School Caretakers’ and Cleaners’ Collective Agreement.

 

This is a permanent part time position. All applicants will be required to undergo a police vet.
