1) Teacher Aide/Support Person 

Maniototo Area School is looking for a teacher aide to support a Secondary  ACC funded student. The ideal candidate will be supportive, positive, compassionate, and be able to build a good rapport with the student.

• For the 2026 academic year (Term time only)
• 26.5 hours a week, during school hours

2) Sports Co-ordinator Part-time –7  hours per week (school terms only)

We are seeking an organised, energetic and community-minded Sports Co-ordinator to support and grow sport at Maniototo Area School.

Key Responsibilities

• Organise and support school sports teams and events
• Coordinate communication with students, whānau, staff and regional sports providers
• Manage sports uniforms and equipment
• Promote lunchtime and co-curricular sport to increase participation
• Support major school sporting events (Athletics, Swimming, Cross Country, etc.)
• Maintain sports records and assist with funding applications

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks
• Communicates well with students, staff, and parents
• Builds positive relationships with clubs and community coaches
• Enjoys working in a school environment and encouraging participation
• Has strong administrative and digital skills
