HOD English Teacher for secondary – Full time, Permanent, Start Date: 29/01/2026

 

Maniototo Area School is looking for a dynamic and creative English Teacher to teach Yrs 9 to 13.  The successful candidate must

• Be available to begin the position at the start of Term 1
• Be registered or able to register with the NZ Teachers Council.
• Have innovative ideas and a collaborative mindset 
• Have a commitment to sport, the arts, outdoor activities and EOTC

 

Small class numbers, newly built modern classrooms, a wonderful community atmosphere, supportive and collegial staff, and a beautiful Central Otago setting are major attractions.

• The position is a full time, permanent 1.0 FTTE. 
• The position comes with 1 Unit as HoD.
• A school house is available if required.
